Our services

Care for both ends of the family

Day programmes for children and seniors, and specialised care for the times someone needs more, all in one building.

01

Child Care

6 months – 6 years

A full day of care built around what a young child actually needs: feeding, clean and safe surroundings, rest, early learning, and hours of play. Activities are planned separately for each age group, so an eight-month-old and a five-year-old are never given the same day.

  • Feeding, nappy changes, hygiene and supervised nap time
  • Age-appropriate early learning and school-readiness activities
  • Art, music, storytelling and free play, indoors and in the garden
  • Vaccination drives and routine health tracking
  • Daily updates for parents on meals, mood and milestones

6–18 months

Infants

Low-stimulation care, feeding on schedule, sensory play and lots of holding.

18 months – 3 years

Toddlers

Movement, language games, messy play and first steps toward routine and sharing.

3–6 years

Preschoolers

Pre-school learning, group activities, extracurriculars and school preparation.

02

Senior Day Care

50 years and above

A day out of the house, with company. Seniors join us for the hours their family is at work and go home in the evening. What each person does is matched to their health and interests, nobody is put in a chair and left there.

  • Morning yoga, light exercise and physiotherapy where needed
  • Health check-ins, medication reminders and diagnostic tie-ups
  • Hobby circles, reading, cards, chess, music, gardening
  • Nutritionist-planned meals and tea through the day
  • Community mixers, outings and festival celebrations

Assisted routines

Gentler physical activity, seated sessions and one-on-one attention from caregivers.

Medical needs

Close monitoring

Regular observation, an on-site medical room and quick coordination with your doctor.

03

Together Time

Every day, all ages

This is what makes Peedhiya different from a creche next door to an old-age home. Every day includes planned hours where both groups do something together, because that is where the benefit for both actually comes from.

Story hour

Seniors read and tell stories, in English, Hindi and Punjabi, and children ask far too many questions.

Garden club

Planting, watering and watching things grow. Slow work that suits both a toddler and a 78-year-old.

Art and craft

Painting, rangoli, paper craft and seasonal decorations made in pairs across the generations.

Music and movement

Folk songs, rhymes, clapping games and the occasional full-room bhangra attempt.

Festivals and celebrations

Lohri, Diwali, Baisakhi, birthdays and anniversaries, celebrated by everyone, together.

Shared meals

Lunch in one dining room. It sounds small; it is the part families tell us about most.

Specialised care

For the times someone needs more than a day programme

Four kinds of care, all given here at the Peedhiya centre by a team of caregivers, nurses, physiotherapists and doctors.

04

Elderly Care & Companionship

Assisted daily living

For elders who need a hand with everyday things like bathing, using the toilet, eating and walking. Our caregivers help with all of it here at the centre, and they are company as much as they are help, keeping each person engaged in activities for as long as they are awake and up to it.

Accepting that a parent now needs long-term help is not easy. We assess what your loved one needs and work with you and their doctor on a care plan that protects as much of their independence as possible.

If work or distance keeps you from being there through the day, we are. We keep a close watch on their physical condition and keep you informed.

Old Age Care

For elders who need help with daily activities, or simply someone to spend time with. Caregivers look after personal hygiene, help with moving about and assist at mealtimes.

Dementia Patient Care

Specialised care for mid to late stage dementia and Alzheimer's, where memory loss, physical weakness and difficulty with thinking, problem-solving or language shape the day.

Parkinson's Patient Care

Specialised care centred on preventing falls, keeping the body moving and doing every task with patience and compassion.

Paralytic Patient Care

Specialised care for people living with paralysis, focused on comfort and a better quality of life for those who spend much of their day in bed.

05

Medical Care

Recovery and rehabilitation

Just out of hospital, or about to be discharged? Recovery after surgery and long-term conditions often call for skilled nursing: tracheostomy care, urinary catheter care, wound care, injections, IV infusions and vaccinations.

At Peedhiya that care is given at the centre by a team of doctors, specialists, nurses, physiotherapists and caregivers, with medical equipment on hand and a plan matched to each person's condition.

We work with patients, their families and their own doctors to set physical, mental and emotional goals, and then to reach them.

Orthopedic Rehab

Recovery after knee or hip replacement, ligament or fracture repair and limb lengthening procedures, plus support for arthritis, slip disc, spondylosis and spondylitis.

Neuro Rehab

After a stroke, craniotomy or traumatic brain injury, and for dementia, Alzheimer's, brain tumour, meningitis and encephalitis. Includes tracheostomy management.

Cardiac Rehab

After coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), open heart surgery, valve replacement, a heart attack or pacemaker insertion, and for congenital heart disease.

Post Surgical Rehab

Urinary catheter care, wound and bed sore dressing, oxygen administration, injections and IV infusions, vaccinations, and Ryle's tube insertion and feeding.

Post Chemotherapy Rehab

Cancer treatment is hard on the body. Our rehabilitation team works together to help each person regain as much physical and emotional strength as possible.

06

Newborn Baby & Mother Care

Post-natal care

A post-natal care programme for new mothers and their babies. We look after both of you day by day at the centre, so that early motherhood is something to enjoy and remember.

End-of-Life & Palliative Care

Comfort and dignity

When someone you love has a life-limiting illness and a cure is no longer the aim, what matters is comfort, dignity and not being alone. Our palliative care team looks after them here at the centre and supports the family through it.

Care includes nursing, medical equipment, doctor visits, pain relief therapies and psychological counselling, planned around what each person needs.

Chronic Heart Failure

Cardiac monitoring, oxygen administration, blood pressure management through an infusion pump, and specialist visits to review the prognosis.

Renal Failure

Monitoring of vital signs, fluid and electrolyte management, peritoneal dialysis and TPN (intravenous nutrition) administration.

Progressive Pulmonary Disorders

For chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), which makes breathing harder over time. Care combines exercise, breathing therapy, oxygen, nebulisation, BiPAP support and medication.

Progressive Neurological Conditions

For the gradual loss of function that comes with multiple sclerosis, motor neurone disease, Parkinson's disease and similar conditions. Psychosocial and psychiatric support go alongside medication and therapy.

Cancer Terminal Care

Moving from curative treatment to end-of-life care is a key part of palliative care. Our team helps patients and families prepare for the physical changes that may come, and manages symptoms at this stage.
